Stormin’ Metal Restoration puts all of our effort into taking the meh out of your metal. The process is a set of steps we take very seriously, beginning with our first interaction. We guarantee quality service and shine every time.

Scheduling Your Appointment

Stormin’ Metal Restoration is not a 9-5 business. We work with you around your schedule, and are happy to work the weekend to accommodate our customers.
We will be able to give you a base price over the phone, but no price is set until we see the truck with our own eyes.

No metal goes un-sanded. Stormin’ Metal Restoration begins each process with sanding, providing more clarity to the finished shine. We finish off with a cut, then color. This not only makes your metal shiny, but it protects your shine even after you’re back on the road.

FAQ’s & Tips

As a one-man polisher, I want to provide the best restoration and polish possible, without keeping your truck out of commission for too long. Here are some commonly asked questions, along with some preparation steps you can take to make the process smoother and get you shining sooner.

How long will my truck be off the road?

Our team is currently made up of myself and my wife, with me being on the front-lines polishing and her holding down the fort with scheduling management at home. We ask that you plan for your truck to be off the road for 3 to 4 days, depending on the condition of the truck. We always strive to be finished sooner.

Can you give me an exact quote over the phone?

No. I will be happy to give you an estimate based on description and pictures, but no price is certain until I have put eyes on the truck or metal.

Do you travel?

Yes! Currently, I am only able to travel to the location of the truck. I will work outdoors if electricity is provided, but I prefer to work in a shop.

Steps You Can Take to Prepare Your Truck for Restoration

Wash your truck – this will get all of the bugs and extra grime off of the metal, which cuts down on sanding time.

Remove all wheels off of your truck – this saves so much time for me to have the wheels off and ready to go as we do not restore the rims while they are on the truck. It also saves you money as there is a service charge for removal of wheels.
